Default Astronomy question

Hello!
Last night the husband and I saw the moon rising. It was nearly full with the top right still needing to be filled out. This morning I was up early and saw the moon again. This time (setting but still high in the sky) the bottom right of the moon needed filling out! Is this normal? I would swear, on a stack of bibles, this is what I saw. Can anybody offer an explanation? I live in Northern Lower MI. Thank you for any help on this!

I think that it should happen that way cause it is going in a circle and you will be seeing it from a different angle.

Cause they say that the same side is always facing us.

This is an excellent website for monitoring the phases of the moon, particularly as it relates to the biblical calendar: http://renewedmoon.com/

Thank you for the link Suncastle and for your thoughts Serena. I guess what I am trying to say is that one night it was not full on the top right quarter. The very next morning that top right quarter was just fine and the bottom right quarter was not full! How can this be?
