My husband put this verse up on facebook today:
Quote:
Very truly I tell you, you will weep and mourn while the world rejoices. You will grieve, but your grief will turn to joy. - John 16:20

Very true. Here is something else from Daniel 11 which I keep pondering:
36 And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvellous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done.

Though on one hand it is disheartening to see this taking place. On the other, because we know scripture, we know these things MUST take place. And the sooner they take place, the sooner we will see our Savior's blessed face. Therefore, my brethren, may we comfort one another with these words. Remember the end goal -- our blessed hope! AMEN!

These are frightening times but they are also exciting times. This is one scripture that gives me comfort. Praise the Lord brethren!

Luke 21:28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

Amen. I have thought on this before too. Amen. The patience of the saints.

Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

That is one verse that makes me think things just may not happen like we think it will. Doesn't this verse give you the thought that when the anti-christ is revealed the Lord is very close to coming back.

Another thought is remember in Revelations that the women is given wings to fly to the wilderness and be nourished there for a season.

Quote:
Rev 12:14
And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.
I have thought on this verse some too. Have wondered if those who have sought the Lord are brought to a place of protection and nourishment for a season during the tribulation. A time, and times and half sound like three and half years, the same that is give to the anti-christ. Can't remember where in the Bible speaks of 3 1/5 years for the anti-christ. Can someone else help me?
