Default Request and praise

My daughter emailed this to me today:

Quote:
Someone went around our neighborhood and shot people's windows out. I think Lisa (lives across the street from us) said the count was 20. From what I understood, the neighbors that called about it and then told her live just a few houses down.
Our house didn't get hit. I am praising the Lord that I am daily relying on Him for HIS protection over us, our vehicles, our house, and our property! I anointed the bottom of my shoes before I went around the house and the garage, and I prayed again, as I walked all around the property.

What a scary thought though -- that we could be sitting in our house and have bullets come flying through the windows! Thankfully, our house is L-shaped, with the family room sticking out from the back of the house. That is where I usually spend my time. My bedroom is at the front of the house, as is the living room, where hubby and daughter spend a lot of time.

Our next-door neighbor was just arrested for possession of meth and conspiracy to manufacture meth, so drug-related shootings is a concern with him right next door. And he was also arrested for carrying a gun w/o a permit.

Anyway, we would sure appreciate others agreeing with us for the Lord to continue to protect us.

Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass."
